Repeatable desired results
The production of structured documentation is a highly repeatable process once the initial set-up work is complete. Extreme attention to detail by the assigned, dedicated project manager and a full understanding of the work to be performed are critical to the initial set-up. Once this is complete, a specific, established workflow is followed to process components of the documentation. In addition, StratComm analyzes the workflow at the outset of the project to determine if any steps can be executed programmatically. These steps not only help to ensure a repeatable process but also minimize time and costs to complete the project.

Stable workforce and technical expertise
StratComm’s geographic location gives us access to an experienced pool of resources that we can utilize as our technical publications work grows. We are also committed to providing access to conferences, workshops, and associations for our technical leads to keep up-to-date on developments in the areas of publishing standards, tools, and best practices in the industry. Our commitment to improvement and training helps to keep our workforce stable and is an important contributor to our organization’s success.

Quality processes
Once the initial set-up is complete, the workflow put in place utilizes a CSDB to ensure consistent results that guarantee publication standards compliance, such as S1000D or other mil standards as pre-determined by the customer. In addition, each project is assigned a technical lead who is responsible for scheduling of technical writing staff and performing quality checks on all work. Therefore, our work is put through both system-based quality checks and manual inspection to ensure the highest quality before delivery to the customer.

Responsiveness to the customer
Every project at StratComm has an assigned, dedicated project manager who acts as the point of contact for the customer. The project manager is on the project from start to finish and is responsible for monitoring customer needs and satisfaction. In addition, the project manager oversees the team assigned to the project and is in the unique position of managing how the project is tracking against the budget as well as against the schedule. This dedicated focus ensures that customer requests can be dealt with on a timely basis. StratComm is also deeply committed to contributing to our customers’ successes and works in cooperation with our customers to achieve their goals. We pride ourselves on building long-term business relationships, as we have with such companies as IBM, Goldman Sachs, and Rolls-Royce Naval Marine, to name a few, through quality project management and open lines of communication to ensure our customers’ needs are always met.

Problem resolution
An open line of communication with the customer helps to minimize any surprises for the customer during a project. However, should a problem arise, we bring the situation to the customer’s attention as soon as possible, we discuss the situation with the customer openly and honestly, and, while we offer suggestions on how to resolve the situation, we always engage the customer in that two-way discussion to determine a mutually agreed upon resolution. StratComm is committed to delivering high-quality products on time and on budget. We also strive to exceed customer expectations, and we do so by being the customer’s trusted and reliable partner, not just a vendor tasked with a particular job.
